Foot and Ankle Pain

The foot and ankle can be home to many problems, all of them uncomfortable and can create a cascade of further injuries. Our foot is the first thing to hit the ground, it provides shock absorption as well as propels us to the next step. We demand so much of our feet on a daily basis.

The foot and ankle contains 26 bones, 33 joints, and more than 100 muscles. In fact, the foot and ankle joint area is so complex, it is not surprising that most Americans will have pain in this area at some point in their life. Ironically, foot and ankle pain can catch up with both active and sedentary individuals.

Conditions we treat:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Achilles Tendinitis
  • Sprained ankle
  • Balance issues
  • Flat feet or collapsed arch
  • Bunion
  • Arthritis of the foot and ankle
